Introducing the Waterco ElectroHeat Sub Zero heat pump, an innovative swimming pool heater that extends your Summer season!
The Waterco ElectroHeat Sub Zero heat pump comes with an integrated digital panel, flow switch (to turn off the unit when there's no water flow), and can operate to temperatures all the way down to 0℃ (although we generally recommend a minimum temperature of +5℃ for optimum performance!).
A weatherproof, solid cabinet and heat exchanger made of robust titanium (celebrated for it's endurance!) make the ElectroHeat Sub Zero Heat Pump a worhwhile purchase that should provide energy efficient and sustained high performances for a considerable time past purchase!

All Waterco swimming pool heater pumps have the following features:
Scroll Compressor
The Scroll Compressor is the only thing that is powered in the heat pump, with the exception of the fan. This compressor is the most powerful on the market and has been designed to also be the quietest.
Titanium Heat Exchanger
Basically, whilst other stainless steel heat exchanges might corrode over time, a titanium one never will. A veritable super substance, once it's yours, it's yours for life!
Automated Controls
Simply set the water temperature and leave the heat pump to do it's thing!
Protection devices have also been built into the heater for ease of use, including auto defrost to eliminate frost from the evaporator in the cold and a switch to shut the heater down in low or no water flow conditions to prevent overheat damage (as well as shutting down if the pressure is too high). The compressor is protected by a time delay so the refrigerant pressure can equalise.
Heat pumps essentially work by taking the air via the large fan on the top or the side, extracting and then compressing any heat in the atmosphere from there and then transferring this into the water through a heat exchanger and thus heating your pool! So, basically it's like a reverse air conditioner but for water.
